BERS is a complex software program. There may be times where you receive a simulation error on your projects.
Below is a list of common issues that may cause this error. Provide a self check to see if any other these errors are within your project.
1- Skylight sizes
Ensure skylights are entered as the correct size. Errors with sizing, making the skylights too small, will cause the software simulation to fail.
2- Combined floors with differing properties.
Ensure only floors with the same properties are combined together.
If external floors have different properties, uncombine the different floor types and combine these with each other.
3- Vitrosca Windows
We are aware of the error with this window selection and are working on resolving this. In the meantime, please select an alternative window manufacture within the assessment.
