Licence issue as showing 0KB, how do I fix this?

If you have installed your licence under C:\Users\Public\Documents\BersPro44 and the BERS Pro application will not advance beyond the launch page:

  • Check the licence for badging with Notepad, mceclip0.png as opposed to another default setting, or
  • Check if the file size is 0KB

Then try the following:
 

  1. Right click on the .LIC file
  2. Select Properties
  3. Then select Opens With to change to Notepad
  4. Save and Apply

 
This will reset the default program to open text files in that directory to Notepad.  If the licence does not correct, try copying it the directory again after the default reset.  It should follow the setting.
